Explain why term “kinetic” makes sense
when speaking about particle behavior
According to the kinetic theory, all matter
consists of tiny particles that are in
constant motion. These particles in gas
are usually molecules or atoms.

the kinetic molecular theory (KMT)? What
are the three basic principles?
1. The particles in a gas are considered to
be small, hard spheres with an
insignificant volume.
