PLAY EVERY DAY CHILDCARE Spring/Summer Youth Development: Child Care- Safe, nurturing environment for children to learn, grow and develop social skills so that when children aren’t in the care of their parents, they’re still with people committed to their development and well-being. Child Watch 6 weeks to 6 years The Y offers babysitting services for Y Members while they work out in our facility for up to two hours. In Child Watch, each day holds a special activity time focused on crafts, storytime, music with scarves and dance, singing, hopscotch activities or the parachute. Child Watch is free for those with a Family, One Parent Family, or Senior Family Membership or if the child has a Youth membership. Parkview Warsaw YMCA Child Watch Hours: North Webster Child Watch: Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. & Monday-Thursday 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday 4:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Multi-Generational Room 5 to 14 years Every day after school, through the summer break and on Saturday mornings, the Multi-Generational Room provides a safe, nurturing place to play board games, play games safely on the iPad, make crafts and more. Here, young people learn the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. In the MultiGenerational Room, children can play foose ball, play the Nintendo Wii and go to the gym. Children must be at least 5 years of age and be Y Members. All children under 12 must be signed in by an adult over the age of 18 and must remain in the Multi-Generational Room until the parent signs them out. A parent must be in the building for children under 12. Multi-Generational Room Hours: Monday-Thursday 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday 4:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. The Multi-Generational Room will have weekday daytime hours 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. over Spring Break, April 4-8, and throughout the summer break, May 31-August 12. Kids’ Club Before and After School Care is more than just babysitting. Kids’ Club has a curriculum involving arts, humanities, health, nutrition, science, and conflict resolution. Time is also scheduled for homework and the Kids’ Club Caregivers are there to help. There is plenty of time for fun with group games and activities. Kids are encouraged to be active for at least 30 minutes of play each morning and each afternoon. Kids’ Club begins at 6:00 a.m. until school begins and then starts again after school until 6:00 p.m. Kids’ Club is offered on-site at Claypool, Eisenhower, Harrison, Jefferson, Leesburg (in 2016-2017 school year), Lincoln, Madison, Mentone, Pierceton and Washington Elementary schools. Claypool does not offer afternoon care. Registration for the 2016-2017 school year will start July 1. For grades K-6 this program is held at the Parkview Warsaw YMCA on Mariners Drive from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required for School Break Camp. School Break Camp/day $20 May 31, June 1-3 $25 There will be a $5 discount for the 2nd child and a $10 discount for the 3rd child. Camp Little Eagle You can have peace of mind knowing your kids are cared for during the day in a safe, enriching environment. Camp Little Eagle Day Camp takes place on weekdays throughout summer break at the Parkview Warsaw YMCA. Fun, weekly-themed, activities await kids such as swimming, crafts and field trips.
