Demonstrate commitment to development of the CCG and own professional development. have an in-depth understanding of the locality; Ability to maintain periods of prolonged concentration Ability to travel across the NHS Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees area Page 4 of 4 Supporting Information Expected Time Commitment The appointed post holder is expected to undertake 2 sessions for the CCG a month in order to carry out the role. This will also need to include flexibility with regards to the dates and times the post holder is available to attend pre-arranged meetings and postholder is expected to commit to regular sessions in the CCG. Employment Processes The post holder will be expected to comply with the policies and procedures of the CCG including corporate, HR and Information Governance policies. The post holder will also be subject to the CCG Governing Body appraisal process and ongoing personal development. Eligibility for nomination To be eligible for this role the individual must be a salaried GP or a GP Partner in one of the CCG’s member practices. Nomination process All nominations must be made via e-mail to the CCG’s Corporate Governance and Risk Officer by COP 15th July 2016 – [email protected] All nominations will be self-nominations. Nominations for the post will then be reviewed by the nominations panel (w/c 18th July) against the criteria specified in the person specification and the eligibility information above. Should more than one nomination be received a vote of all member practices will take place based on one vote per GP as agreed by the Council of members at their meeting held on 25th September. If only one nomination is received, should they meet the criteria for the role, the nomination is put up for a ratification vote by all members of the Governing Body and this is either accepted or rejected.
