Building Family Bridges. This project is part of the Building Better Opportunities programme funded jointly by The Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund. This is a proactive and supportive project to improve the prospects for families with complex needs, by working with various grass roots community organisations to remove the barriers that prevent people from engaging in learning and other pathways towards employment. By providing consistent support and constructive challenge through Family Support Workers the Building Family Bridges project will enable participants to identify their own long term employment aims and ensure that they are able to access existing services, as well as filling gaps in those services such as family mediation or opportunities (providing opportunities) for families to have positive experiences together, building confidence and improving wellbeing. The project aims to engage over 400 individuals as participants, with a wider reach to engage their families and support networks. The outcomes for the project will impact both the families and the wider community e.g. reduced call outs by police and other statutory organisations, increased participation in healthcare, education and first steps social care (rather than final steps) The following vacancies are located with our partner organisations.
