Our Mission is to end homelessness in the Big Bend
through leadership, education, advocacy, and the provision of quality services.
Our Values are integrity, excellence, respect, and empowerment.
Homeless Coalition Program Highlights

The Homeless Coalition is Tallahassee’s largest provider of safe decent housing for people
who are homeless in our community. We house more than 250 individuals every day –
families, children, and adults who otherwise would be staying at an emergency shelter, in a
car, or on the streets.

The Homeless Coalition has helped more than 1,300 people – including more than 500
children – move out of homelessness and into stable housing in the past six years.
How Does Your Support Make a Difference?

Donations of linens make for a happy homecoming for a homeless Veteran at Home Front.

Serving meals in our HOPE Community Meal Volunteer Program (MVP) provides a nutritious
meal and a face of hope to people who are working hard to get out of homelessness.

Huge impact from your financial donations:
o $10 buys a prescription for a man who is homeless and ill.
o $20 provides a full day of housing, meals, employment assistance, counseling, and
other services to a homeless person.
o $25 helps a mom who is homeless get her GED.
o $50 helps pay a deposit on an apartment for a family moving out of homelessness.

You can help spread the word about the good work done by the Homeless Coalition by
