Students should understand and be able to apply the Pythagorean Theorem as related to
right triangle trigonometry.
Students should be able to calculate the Sine, Cosine, Tangent, Cosecant, Secant, and
Cotangent functions of any right triangle.

Procedures
1. Teach unit from appropriate text.
2. Assign students to groups and present projects to be completed—example of student
brochure, PowerPoint, and website.
