FDD Men and Women…Let’s Play Ball!!!
It’s time to sign up for the 2014 FDD Baseball League! Last year’s inaugural season was a huge hit. In addition
to our Yankees, sponsored by Community Resource Network Board member Cole Caruso and the Tigers
sponsored by the Bonita Lions Club we are adding 2 more teams! We have one new sponsor in place; we are
looking for one more sponsor. Benefits of sponsoring a team are your name and logo on your team banner
displayed at all FDD Games and the opportunity to choose your team name. Please let Becky Stark know if you
have a prospective sponsor she can contact.
Important information you need to know before signing up:

Schedule – We will play every Saturday except March 1st. Our first game will be January 4th – last game
will be April 26th. PICTURE day will be February 22nd, (more info to follow soon). NO BASEBALL
ON MARCH 1st, this is the day of the FDD Gala and Auction.

Saturday 3pm – 5pm
January - 4, 11, 18, 25
February - 1, 8, 15, 22 Photo Day
March - 8, 15, 22, 29 **No Baseball on March 1st**
April - 5, 12, 19, 26
May – 10 Baseball Awards Picnic

Who – FDD members, male and female ALL abilities! Volunteers will be available to help those who
need assistance with hitting and running.

What – Baseball for the love of the game, EVERYONE hits, EVERYONE runs/walks or wheels the
bases, EVERYONE is a winner! We do not keep score. We will work on basic baseball skills, hitting,
catching and fielding, NO experience necessary! Coaches will pitch and catch to keep the game moving
and add some fun as players cross home plate!

Where – Osceola Elementary School, 5770 Osceola Trail, Naples, FL 34109, near Barron Collier High
School

Time – 3pm -5pm (Players please arrive in uniform and ready to play at 2:45)

Cost – Each player will pay a one time registration fee of $30.00.

need of two additional COACHES for our 2 new teams.
Space is limited so please complete the Registration form and return it to the FDD office ASAP so we can get
uniforms ordered. We will NOT be providing new pants for 2014 for those who played last year.
