School Sports NL Participation Nation Invites You To Join An Exciting Contest To
Get Students From Grades K-12 Up And Active!
The Participation Nation program always encourages participants to try new games and activities
since it both challenges students physically and creates an exciting school environment.
“May Minute Madness” happens during the month of May and is a promotion that rewards schools and
students for participating in many different sports & activities that can win your school great prizes!
Here are the guidelines:
- Events must be extra-curricular and follow PN philosophy: Participation & Fun!
- You can do In-House events or Multi-School (Multi-school events are eligible for a Nutrition Grant).
- Sports & Activities are listed in the 3 colour group boxes on the next page.
- Your school/students have levels of “Active Goals” they are striving to achieve. See next page for goals.
- Whichever goal you reach at the end of May, you are eligible for that random draw prize & point value.
- Top overall school will receive a $200 equipment grant and 50 PN Active Challenge Bonus Points.
- All participants in Grades 4-9 will receive the usual PN Rewards (Stickers, Certificates, Pins, & Pin Sacs)
along with a chance to win some great draw prizes like sports equipment, apparel, & memorbilia.
