Project meeting for teachers and staff members
As it was agreed in the last meeting in Manresa that workshops are described by KSC-model
(knowledge, skills, competence). At the moment ECVET points are still unclear and it is better
to focus on learning units and the description learning outcomes. There are still many open
questions on ECVET realization.
After the Manresa meeting Instutut Lacetánia made background work placed model for
others to comment on Moodle. We now continue collecting workshops on Moodle and also
write them by KSC-model and learning outcomes descriptions. The base of KSC-model was
introduced on Lublin meeting and a model of FINECVET was given.
Also some general aspects of ECVET (European Credits for Vocational Education and
Training) was discussed and model documents were presented e.g. MoU (Memorandum of
Understanding between competent bodies) and student based LA (Learning Agreement). As
there were still many unclear things in ECVET no credits are yet introduced in IPAN. The
ECVET focus on IPAN will be on learning outcomes of the units (workshops). We also focus
on KSC-modelling of workshops and testing of this kind of intercultural cooperation
international teams. Learning outcomes include also a lot of soft skills competence alongside
with technical know-how and competence.
The final IPAN work (20-30 pages) for the final report will be collected from the materials on
Moodle and workshops plans, results and feedback. This will be discussed better on the next
meeting in Lisbon. Tampere Vocational College Tredu is responsible on the final collection of
the materials.

Meeting continued in the afternoon and the schedules for the next meeting in Lisbon, Portugal were
confirmed. The next meeting will be on 10th March – 14th March 2013. The new dates are now fixed by all
partners. Tampere meeting dates will be the same as planned 12th – 16th May 2014 and preliminary booking
are already done for students (Dream Hostel) and staff members (Hotel Holiday Inn Tampere).
In Portugal the main focus will be CNC technology, CAD/CAM and assembling team challenge. Portuguese
partners inform about the hostel and hotel soon. All information about the hotel/hostel and programme
will be placed into Moodle. Also company visit (Famolde) and cultural activities are planned. Student leval
for the workshop is basic.

Portugal meeting was postponed because of the new EU-programme Erasmus +. It seems that new project
application deadlines will be on mid-February 2014 and also a new project application will be done to
continue IPAN project development work. Most likely the new project will be Leonardo SSA (sector skills
alliance) with company cooperation from all countries and testing of 2 week student workshops.
Tampere meeting and workshops are focused on FMS /flexible manufacturing systems. Also final seminar
will be arranged and a person from Finnish national agency CIMO will be joining the programme.
Participants on Finnish meeting/workshops:
Poland, LCEZ: 5 staff members and 4 students
Poland, Sipma: 2 staff members
Germany, MES: 4 staff members and 4 students
Portugal, Cenfim: 3 staff members and 4 students
Catalanya/Spain, Lacetania: 3 staff members and 4 students
Student evaluation was discussed again. General oral feedback is important after each meeting. After the
workshops teachers are responsible to discuss with the students and collect feedback. Some evaluation
materials are placed also on Moodle.
Now the IPAN workshops are quite unique and not normal part of the school/training programme. Anyway
it is important to know what was good/bad, what did students learn, how they would have developed the
workshops and also give a possibility to open feedback
