Multiple Selection Criteria High School
Marietta High School will use the following multiple, educationally related selection criteria to
select students for FLP services in mathematics and reading.
ALL first time 9th Grade Students (as of August 2012): The multiple selection
criteria used will be the CRCT/CRCT-M in Math, English Language Arts and Science and
whether or not a student was promoted or administratively placed at the high school. The weight
will be as follows:

2012 CRCT-M (Math)
0-300= 5 points
301- 319 = 4 points
320-329 = 3 points
330-349= 1 point
Above 350 = 0
2012 CRCT (Math)
0-750 = 5 points
751-770 = 4 points
771-790 = 3 points
791-810 = 2 points
811-825 = 1 point
Promotion or Retention Status in FY12
Administratively placed = 5 points
Promoted = 0 points
Selection Criteria for Student Services in Reading
2012 CRCT-M (ELA)
0-300= 5 points
301-319 = 4 points
320-329 = 3 points
330-349= 1 point
Above 350 = 0
2012 CRCT (ELA)
0-750 = 5 points
751-770 = 4 points
771-790 = 3 points
791-810 = 2 points
811-825 = 1 point
Promotion or Retention Status in FY12
Administratively placed = 5 points
Promoted = 0 points
Total points will be calculated for each student by subject area and students will be rank ordered
by subject area from greatest number of points to least number of points. The maximum weight
is 10 points. All students will be served by subject area with economically disadvantaged
students prioritized in accordance with the Federal rank order.
ALL second year 9th graders and up: The multiple selection criteria used will be overall
course performance (i.e. course failures and grade point average). The weight will be as follows:

1 course failure = 3 points

2.0 or less = 5 points
2.1-2.4 = 4 points
2.5-2.9 = 3 points
3.0-higher = 0 points
