Divide your students into 4 teams. We use the colors Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow. It usually works best if each classroom is divided evenly into the four teams. For example, Mr. Smith’s 4th grade class should be divided into four colored teams. And so on. The number of teams that we use depends on the number of students in your school. If you have 125 students or more than you can assume we will use all four teams. 2. Please make sure that there are an equal number of students from EACH age group on EACH team. Each teacher should divide his or her class into four teams. 3. Choose a teacher to be captain for each team. The captains will assist us in rotating the students for each round and choosing students for our activities. 4. THIS IS OPTIONAL!!! -Ask each teacher to provide between 5 and 10 questions based on their curriculum to be used in the show. This helps the hosts determine what questions will be appropriate throughout the assembly. The questions should be typed and labeled at the top with the grade level. Please include the answers to the questions to make sure there is no doubt. You can hand us the questions on the day of the show. Customized questions must be handed to the UNIQUE host no less than 30 minutes prior to the game show. 5. Encourage your other teachers to join a team. Staff participation is a huge plus for the show and for your school! 6. Encourage your students to wear their team colors to the show. Team spirit ALWAYS generates points!
