Casey and I are excited about the possibility of adoption and thrilled to have the
opportunity to become parents. Let us start by telling you a little about who we are.
We are thirty years of age and have been married for ten years. We met and started
dating in high school when we were seventeen, fell in love, and it’s been magic since. Casey is
an elementary school teacher, and I am a physician. Great joy comes from our careers where
we care for others on a daily basis. We have reached the crossroads in our lives where it is time
to grow our family, and that is where our paths cross. Adoption is our opportunity to fulfill our
dreams of raising children and, hopefully, relieve some of the hardships that you may be facing.
Above all else, we feel that we can provide a safe, nurturing environment for a child.
Casey is a kind, loving person who always puts everyone else before herself. She is the
oldest daughter and joy of her family which consists of her mother, father, sister, her sister’s
husband, and her nephew, Brayden. Dancing and playing with Brayden (or shopping for his
presents) is her favorite family activity. She enjoys all kinds of crafts, scrapbooking, reading,
gardening, and…….college football. What a lady!
I am the second oldest child in my family. I have an older sister and two younger
brothers, a mother, a father, and two grandparents. Our adopted child is likely to be the first
grandchild and first great-grandchild in my family….a high honor indeed! I enjoy reading,
playing video games, listening to music, comedy, and sports. I consider myself to be a good role
model. More than anything, I have a desire to make a positive impact on the world, and I can’t
think of a better way to make that happen than being a good father.
We live in a town of about 100,000 in the Midwest in a suburban setting. We have our
own home where we live with our two Chihuahuas, Zoey and Obi. The local schools are
exceptional, and we have several nearby parks, trails, creeks, rivers, and orchards. It is an ideal
location for raising children. We are Christians by faith. We are open to receiving a child from
any background, race, or ethnicity without preference. Our only desire is to have a child to love.
