• Level 1 Coaching Accreditation ($170)
- 4 years Coaching Accreditation
- 4 years of AFCA Membership
• After 4 years of active coaching ($65)
- Fill out Re-Accreditation form which gives you the
above benefits for a further 4 years
• Basic Membership ($25 per year)
• AFCA year starts on 1 January each year

• Must attend all sessions of program
• Must be registered as having attended
• Payment must be received before accreditation
will proceed

• Written assignment
• Must be completed and handed in at the final
session
• Answers are either in the documentation
provided or based on common sense
• Designed to be thorough without being onerous
Practical
• Prepare a drill or skill demonstration
• Names randomly selected to present a drill
relating to a skill that has been taught
Ethical
• Critically important
• Assessment is recognised under the National
Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS)
• Requires each coach to “sign up” to the
appropriate Coaches Code of Conduct (e.g.
Junior / Auskick)
• Police checks can be requested in certain
circumstances
• “Working With Children” card
