ODESSA, one of the best and most beautiful seaside cities in Ukraine has been selected to host the International Boxing Tournament “Simon Trestin Memorial” due to its great importance as a boxing center of the country. The community in Odessa has always showed great interest and support towards boxing The tournament is in memorial of Mr. Simon Trestin. He was well known as one of the most significant figures for the Soviet boxing and one of the leading figures in the history of the world boxing as well. The Odessa regional Boxing Federation would like to honor his memory with this tournament. Your Participation in this tournament shall help us to promote boxing at all levels. ELIGIBILITY OF BOXERS AND AGE CLASSIFICATION Boxers (ELITE) categories Age classification Weight classification 10 weight categories: 46-49 kg, 52 kg, 56 kg, 60 kg, 64 kg, 69 kg, 75 kg, 81 kg, 91 kg, 91 kg + 5.TEAM COMPOSITION National Federations can have maximum 5 boxers – one in each category. 1-3 boxers – 1 official/trainer, 1 judge; 4-5 boxers – 2 officials/trainers, 1 judge. 6. NUMBER OF ROUNDS: Men (ELITE): Three (3) rounds of three (3) minutes, one (1) minute rest between rounds 7. SCORING SYSTEM AIBA Scoring System - 10 Point Must-Scoring System will be used. 8. REFEREES AND JUDGES R&J are sent by National Federations. For the fair play and successful competition, it is highly recommended to NFs to bring their AIBA R&J – 1, 2 or 3 Stars. 9. REGISTRATION FORMS Please fill all attached forms, print and send them all back to the Organizing Committee, signed by the National Federation’s President or Secretary General till: A. For Final Entry Registration: Send scanned final registration forms by e-mail until June 20th 2017 to [email protected] B. For Travel Details: Send scanned the travel details form by e-mail until July 10th 2017 to [email protected] 10. REQUIREMENTS a) All Boxers must bring along with them: • Record book with annual medicals duly completed and updated • Current and valid Passport b) Each Team Delegation must bring the following: • National flag 1x1.5 m • National anthem (on MP3 or CD) c) Boxer’s Uniform: Each boxer must bring two sets of uniform. The colors of these two sets of uniform must be in accordance with AIBA Technical and Competition Rules. 11. TRANSPORTATION All the delegates will be welcomed at Odessa International Airport by the staff of the Organizing Committee to be transported to the Four-star hotel in Odessa. The Organizing Committee will provide local transportation for all participants between the airport and the hotel and the competition venue free of charge. Each National Federation will organize and pay for the travel arrangements for their athletes and officials from their country to Odessa International Airport and from Odessa International Airport to their country. 12. FINANCIAL CONDITIONS Organizer will provide accommodation and meals for the teams of national federations during the tournament period. All extra persons and those who come or leave earlier or later than above started dates must pay 60 Euro per person per day. Delegations who do not confirm their participation in the tournament before June 10, 2017, will pay their accommodation on their own. Check-out: All team should have checked out by 12:00 on July 24th 2017. 13. INSURANCE All participants are requested to get their own travel and medical insurance.
