Athletes will be issued an athletic clearance within 24 hours. Athletes can't try out or practice until they have given an athletic clearance to the coach of the team for which they are trying out. What Is A Core Course? What are Nontraditional Courses? Courses taught through: The Internet (online or virtual); Distance learning; Independent study; Individualized instruction; Correspondence; Computer software programs; or Other similar means. Impact Baseline Testing Records how your un-injured brain performs Used by the sports medicine team to know when its safe to return a student/athlete to play after a concussion. Currently used by professional and university sports teams across the nation. The Impact test contains 3 parts: Sports and health history Current symptoms and condition Cognitive testing The Impact test takes approximately 30 minutes to complete Rancho Cotate Athletic Contribution The RCHS Athletic Department is requesting that every athlete at Rancho Cotate High School make a $150 athletic contribution to help run the athletic department.
