OneStream Software Unveils XF Version 3.4 as it Continues to Deliver Exceptional Corporate Performance
Management in a Single Platform
ROCHESTER, MICHIGAN (January, 2015)- OneStream Software LLC, leader in Corporate Performance Management
(CPM) software, announced the availability of OneStream XF’s, highly anticipated, version 3.4. This latest release of
OneStream XF includes major enhancements to its already successful OneStream XF software platform.

OneStream Software. “One of the most significant additions to this release is the introduction of our Extensible
Document Framework which takes full advantage of Microsoft’s Open XML. By using this technology, we are able
to increase productivity and maintain customer satisfaction without affecting server performance or requiring a
third party add-on. Delivering rich seamless integration with the familiarity of MS Office, the Extensible Document
Framework gives our customers the ability to produce a layering of document composition using their own
narratives combined with OneStream’s analytic content. These new capabilities will also allow additional office
content from the MS Office Suite to deploy on any mobile device.”
Continuing with OneStream's commitment to customer success, many of the new features are a direct result of
feedback from XF users worldwide. Version 3.4 follows OneStream's 2014 development roadmap by enhancing
usability, refining the platform and expanding the application with innovative solutions. "Version 3.4 provides
several enhanced ease-of-use features including self-service report books with a graphical user interface using
If/Then statements, looping, automated reporting, and classic drag-and-drop capabilities," said Bob Powers, Vice
President and Chief Technology Officer at OneStream. "With these enhancements and features, we have been able
to further streamline the workflow submission process."
Version 3.4 Includes:

Extensible Document Framework—This feature provides end users with direct integration with the
Microsoft Office Suite without the use of an add-on. With extensive MS Office Suite integration including
PowerPoint, Word and Excel, users are able to create and design complex data reports directly from their
desktop and quickly format, scale and integrate them into OneStream XF with instantaneous results.
Users can create Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents with the ability to insert and refresh OneStream
data and reports.

Book Designer—Support with report books is enhanced with the ability to include our newly released
Extensible Documents. No scripting, no programming required. The new Book Designer allows users to
graphically build books containing reports, charts, and files, as well as MS Office documents augmented
with OneStream content using the Extensible Document Framework. Simple looping and graphicallyconfigured parameter substitutions make it easier to create books that automatically re-use content to
produce reports for multiple business units and product lines.

Cube View Designer—This enhancement will allow end users the ability to quickly and easily format,
create and improve reports to meet the needs of the business. One intuitive format designer delivers all
grids, reports, web forms and Excel cube views.
Version 3.4 upgrade can be completed in less than a day. Craig Colby, Vice President of Marketing and
Communications, reports “A remarkable fact about OneStream upgrades is they only take a half day to complete,
