EXTRA-TERRITORIALITY
Rationale:
Students are expected to behave according to school expectations at all times, whether at
school or outside school grounds. Students identified as students of the school who breach
school rules outside the school grounds will be subject to normal behaviour management
processes.
Purpose:
The purpose of this policy is to inform students of their responsibility to behave according to
school standards, whether on school grounds or in the wider community.
Scope:
This policy applies to all students.
Guidelines:
1.
Students shall meet the school’s standards of behaviour and uniform both within the school
and in the wider community at any time that they are identifiable as WBHS students
(through location, uniform, engaging in school activities, social networking or any other link
to the school).
2.
Students who engage in any illegal activity whether on school property or not, while
identifiable as WBHS students shall be in breach of this policy.
3.
A student found to be in breach of this policy may be subject to the normal disciplinary
procedures that apply to students within the school grounds.
