Reports
District Reports can be made through Quick Reports (as outlined in your Basic Navigation
Session – instructions found in the Fundamental’s Resource guide or data can be exported out
and managed as you do your spread sheets now. As the bus field sets in the student data are
managed by AM/PM Routes these are the way the bus routes would be reported on.
These can be developed in the district and/or school view.
If you want only the bus students to show up on your reports, you will have to select them and
show selected prior to doing your report. In District View > Student Top Tab > You would do a
“Query” for the bus route you want to print e.g. if you want the AM Bus Route for your zone
(Elk Valley or Cranbrook) - You would click Options > Query >
Table > Student
Fields > Bus AM Pick Up
Operator > Is Not Empty
Search Based on > Whatever you called your Zone (Cranbrook
Schools)
Then Save As (Bus Route AM or whatever you want to call it so
you can use the same query again and again > remember to save
as a filter as well). You must save before you search or it wil not
save
Then Search > Results are as show in the next screen shot
You can then print the report with only those students reporting on it.
You can export the data to an excel worksheet by using the printer icon on the right hand side
of the screen and choosing csv. This will create a file that you can read with your excel
program as well if you want to do other things with the data.
