CAPTAINS MONTHLY ROUND UP

First game of season played against North Warwickshire. A good day
was had by all on a course playing well for time of year.
Result was a LOSS 2.5 to3.5 Stars of the day were Tony Britton and
Charles Mctear who took an early bath winning 6 and 5
Congratulations to Tony Britton winning the Winter Singles
Next up was Whitefields at home on a nice sunny day with a
convincing 5.5 to 1.5 WIN. Stars of the day were your captain and
Nick Kirby winning 6 and 5 with a good win for Brian Churchill and
Nev Burton winning 6 and 4.Nearest the pin was Roy Walker and £28
raised for the captains charities
13/4 Windmill away; The course was immaculate as usual and a well
fought DRAW was had. Well done to Bob Duxbury and his coach
Martin Darby winning 7 and 5.Good wins for Mike Gilbey and Roger
Pearson and to Debutant Paul Stewart and Maurice Durand.
20/04 OAKRIDGE home another convincing win 6 to 1 stars were
Robin Whithouse and Brian Churchill winning 6 and 5 and Nev Burton
and Paul Stewart 4 and 3 well done to the team,
