Format :





Kaveri What’s your talent? is a talent show to showcase the unique talents in our
Kaveri community. It is not a competition.
It will conducted in Kaveri Ganesha program.
Groups : It is open to the following groups:
o Adults (16 yrs and above)
o Kids (5 yrs – 16yrs).
o Each Group will have minimum of 3 contestants and maximum of 5.
Duration:
o Each participant will get 3 minutes to perform. Contestants are expected to finish
their act within the allotted time.
o Each participant is expected to disclose beforehand if props are used in the act.
Setup time will be max of 1 min if additional props are used.
Type of acts:
o The acts can be any of the following categories:
 Monoacting, Mimicry
 Stand-up Comedy
 Juggling, Magic (safety restrictions apply)
 Painting
 Poetry or Other unique talents.
o Adult participants should select acts in KANNADA only. Children can choose
acts in Kannada/English but are encouraged to do their act/speak in Kannada.
o Due to time restrictions this unique talent show will not include dance and singing
categories. There will be competitions for those categories later this year.
o The selection of the participants will be strictly on a first come first serve basis
with maximum of 2 participants for each type of act.
o All participating will be given certificates.
Rules :




All participants must be a paid member of Kaveri for the year 2013. Participants can
become a member on the day of the program.
Last date to send the entries is Sept 14th 2013
Last date to cancel the entry is Sept 1st 2013.
A confirmation email will be sent once accepted.
If you choose to use additional props/CD Kaveri is not responsible for any malfunctions
that may occur.
