Tournement Information :

Each coach will be provided with a folder containing: schedule, rules and
sportsmanship rubric.
All teams are reminded to please bring completed ISAC MS roster forms to the
tournament. As per league rules, schools may not participate without having
submitted this form.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Sunbird Sandwiches.
Water dispensers will be located out on the fields. Please bring your own water
bottles.
Teams should provide their own balls for warm-up.
Medical personnel from our clinic will be on site. Teams are still advised to bring
their own first aid kits.
Let’s make every attempt to ensure that matches start on time.
All teams are requested to be present at the Awards Ceremony (immediately
following the final game)—IF POSSIBLE. We’ll be flexible, given the schedule.
Sportsmanship Awards will be presented; be prepared for this voting.
ISAC MS Football Rules:
FIFA rules

Maximum roster size during the ISAC Tournament is 14 players.
Matches shall be 1 x 25-minute period.

Unlimited substitutions are permitted.
The off-side rule shall NOT be applied.
Any player who is issued a red card during ISAC play will be suspended from the next
scheduled ISAC League or Tournament match for his/her school. (04/09)
7. Any player who is issued a second red card during the same season will be
suspended from ISAC play for the remainder of the season. (04/09)
8. All red card violations shall be reported to the ISAC Soccer Commissioner. (04/09)
9. In the case of a forfeit, a 3-0 score will be recorded. (4/08)
10. ISAC Tournament Tie-Break Rules:
a. Result head to head between tied teams
b. Goal differential head to head between tied teams
c. Most goals scored head to head between tied teams
d. Goal differential during the tournament play
e. Most goals scored during the tournament play
f. Coin Toss by Tournament Director
11. During the ISAC Tournament, if a match is tied at the end of regulation time and it is
necessary to have a winning team, a 10-minute Golden Goal extra-period shall be
played. Both teams will begin the extra-period with 6 players (one less than the
normal amount). From that point on, one additional player is dropped from each
team every 2 minutes until it becomes 3 vs. 3 (1 goalkeeper + 2 outfield players). No
additional players will be removed once it becomes 3 vs. 3. A player designated as
the goalkeeper must remain in the match at all times. If no goal is scored during the
extra-period, the result of the match is determined by Penalty Kicks involving only
the 3 players remaining on the field at the conclusion of the extra-period. Other
than it only involving those 3 players, the Penalty Kicks shall be taken according to
FIFA regulations.
