BACKGROUND:
Balochistan University of Information Technology Engineering & Management Sciences,
Quetta (BUITEMS) is planning to establish new sub-campus at Zhob.
The works include:
 Master planning.
 Academic Building
 Administration block
 Hostels
 Masjid
 Common facilities
 External Development
SCOPE OF SERVICES:
BUITEMS invites application for pre-qualification from leading/well reputed
Architectural/Engineering firms with experience in the designing of educational institutes.
The Architectural firms have experience in the University and Higher Educational
Institutions master planning; including designing of buildings, interior designing and detailed
supervision of construction works are encouraged to apply.
The Architectural and Engineering Services are related to the disciplines of detailed
Architecture, Civil Structure, Plumbing and Sanitation, Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, FireFighting/Protection, IT, Interior designing.
The Architectural firm shall also be required to provide the following services:





Soil Investigation of the proposed new building location. 
Designing and preparation of drawings.
Preparation of Engineering Estimates, Tender /Bidding Documents including tender
evaluation reports. 
Detailed Supervision of construction works. 
Verification of bills and quantities.
The final selection shall be made in accordance to the existing PEC / PCATP rules &
regulations.
The firm must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council & Pakistan Council of Architect
& Town Planners.

Eligibility Criteria:
1. Only registered firms can apply for the prequalification. Preference will be given to the
firms having experience of similar nature projects.
2. All pages of the application should be stamped and signed by the applicant.
3. Expression of Interest & Pre-Qualification documents complete in all respect with the
firm’s profile and necessary documents including work experience, registration
certificates, staff detail etc. should reach at the above mentioned address by the date
mentioned in advertisement published in newspaper.
4. The technical and financial proposals must be submitted in two separate envelops.
5. Financial proposals of only prequalified firms will be considered.
6. BUITEMS reserves the right to reject any or all application as per PPRA rules.
