Let’s! Play! Hockey!
The Initiation Program:
North SEERA’s Initiation program consists of hockey players
primarily born in 2009 and 2010. Our program is divided into two
groups: Initiation 1 (I1) and Initiation 2 (I2).

The Initiation 1 group is made up of new skaters and first year
players who will have one ice time per weekend.

The Initiation 2 group is made up of older or experienced
players who will have one practice and one game per
weekend.
The season runs from approximately the middle of October through to
early March. Several pre-season evaluation skates take place in the
latter part of September to help in the formation of the Initiation teams.
Following the evaluation players are assigned to a team for the
remainder of the hockey season.
The season will include a year-end hockey party and a TimBits
Jamboree (tournament). The I1 and I2 groups will also have a family
fun-skate prior to the December holiday break.
