The DPWH Regional Office No. 2 through the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) invites contractors to bid for

Contract Location: Regional Government Center, Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City, province of Cagayan
Brief Description of the Project: Perimeter Fence and Gate Layout
Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC): ₧1,090,578.02
Source of Funds: BLGF Regular Fund
Contract Duration: 48 C.D.
The BAC is conducting the public bidding for these Contracts in accordance with Republic Act 9184 and its Revised
Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).
To be eligible to bid for this contract, a contractor must meet the following major requirements: (a) Filipino citizen
or 75% Filipino-owned partnership/corporation with PCAB license for Size Range Medium A to Large B (For Project
No. 1) and Small B to Large B (For Project No. 2) (b) completion of a similar contract costing at least 50% of the
ABC*, and (c) Net Financial Contracting Capacity (NFCC) at least equal to the ABC.
The DPWH will use non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria in the eligibility check. The completeness and correctness
of the bid will be determined during the detailed evaluation of bids. Contractors shall also be able to meet the postqualification criteria of the project as stated in the bidding documents of the projects.

A non-refundable fees of ₧50,000 (For Project No. 1) and ₧5,000.00 (For Project No. 2) to cover the cost of
Bidding Documents shall be paid upon securing hard copies of the Documents. Bidders who download the Documents
from the DPWH/PhilGEPS website shall pay the fee upon submission of their bids.
The DPWH Regional Office No. 2 reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process
any time before the Contract award, without incurring any liability to the affected bidders, in accordance with the
provisions of Section 41 of RA9184 and its IRR.
