Player Code of Conduct
As a player with Basin United Soccer Club, I recognize that I must present myself as a
positive manner and remain so during any event with Basin United. I also recognize that I
must follow all rules and regulations set forth by Basin United, Mike’s Fieldhouse, and
US Soccer, as well as:
 Treat teammates, opposing players, coaches and referees with respect.
 Demonstrate self-control and good sportsmanship at all times.
 Honor your commitment to the team and attend all practices and games, unless
illness or special circumstances prevent it.
 Report all injuries to Basin United Staff immediately.
 Understand that official decisions by the referees should be accepted without rancor
or anger, no matter how unfair they may seem; further understand that the use of
intimidating behavior, verbal or physical, directed toward any referee is grounds
for immediate dismissal from the field and possibly the team.
 Will account for and return all club equipment issued to me by Basin United.
 Understand that Steen Sport Park has a no smoking policy on park property. Basin
United members are not to possess, distribute or be under the influence of alcohol
or controlled substances, including but not limited to narcotics, inhalants,
marijuana or other dangerous drugs. Police arrest, school suspension, possession,
distribution or being under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances will
result in the member's immediate suspension from all Basin United-related
activities.
Possible consequences for violating any of these terms include, but are not limited to
loss of game time, ejection from a game, or possible exclusion from further Basin
United involvement. Your coach, the referees, the Executive Staff, and the Basin
United Board of Directors possess the authority to impose such restrictions on a
player.
