"Return from the market”
Two married couples lived in a small town Portiza in Portugal. One day they decided to go
to the market to buy potatoes and other necessities. There were a lot of people at the
market, and two women on donkeys Albar and Martin and their husbands Oscar and
Malior. After bying potatoes and other things they were heading back to the village. On
the way back it was very hot so the women spread their umbrellas against the sun. They
met sad and lonely woman in a desert away from the town.
-“Good morning”-she said Albar.
-“Good morning”- the woman answered sadly.
-“What happened?”- Martin asked
-“ I don't have a place to live, a sandstorm destroyed my house” – said the woman crying.
-“Don't worry, our village is not far from here. We'll find a home for you there”- Albar said.
-“Really?” – said the woman with a smile.
-“Yes, you can trust us. There is an abandoned house in our village where you could live,
so let's go to the village.”-Albar said.
When they reached Portiza, the abandoned house caught their attention. The woman was
very grateful to Albara and Martin. The woman named Alex became friends with Albar,
Martina and their families. A few years later Alex started a large family, with whom she
lived happily ever after. They were friends forever.
