Toffee and Liquorice
Toffee and Liquorice have a
wooden hutch on the grass
Toffee and
Liquorice like
to eat
dandelion
leaves
Toffee has a smooth
furry coat.
Liquorice has dark
fur – almost black
Liquorice likes leaves
Toffee too!
Toffee and Liquorice need
food and water, leaves and
fresh straw every day.
Toffee and Liquorice
need to have their
hutch cleaned out!
Liquorice likes a cuddle
Naughty Toffee ran off and
hid under the hutch
Toffee came back out from
under the hutch to get a leaf.
Toffee and Liquorice take a
lot of looking after. You can’t
have a pet until you are old
enough to do it.
Mum said: “Toffee and
Liquorice need food and
water, leaves and fresh straw,
care and time, every day. You
have to do a lot of things to
show you care if you have a
pet. You even have to do
smelly jobs!
The pet needs you to do
these things.”
