CREDITON LEARNING COMMUNITY ANNUAL
SWIMMING GALA – reported by Jo Carter
Well done Cherry B swimmers! From Class 4: Mollie,
Joel , Alice C, James, Blake, Tommy; and from Class
2, and the youngest swimmer in the entire event, Cici
(well done Cici, you were amazing). All of the
children gave everything they had and even though we
were the smallest team there, we entered every event
and true to the school's rules, tried our hardest! All of
the children entered more than one event so it was hard
work.
Thanks also to the supporting adults who unofficially
won the loudest cheerleaders' prize. This event is held
annually at the Lord's Meadow swimming pool. It is
an amazing morning with a touch of the Olympics
about it. Maybe next year we could pull together a
bigger team and put to good use all those swimming
lessons. Come on Cherry B - don't be shy!
