CAMP PHILOSOPHY
Dear Campers and Parents,
Thank you for your interest in the 2017 Lee’s Summit High
School Boys Basketball Camp. Our goal is to provide the
premier basketball camp experience in the KC area and to
continue the strong tradition of basketball in Lee’s Summit.
The purpose of our camp is to teach the fundamental skills
necessary to become a successful basketball player and to
have fun while doing so. Our campers will be taught
shooting form, ball-handling, passing, footwork, rebounding,
individual and team offense and defense.
I look forward to another exciting summer of camps and I
hope that you can be a part of them.

Note: Any kid may attend the first day of camp free of charge! We want to teach kids
basketball. If they choose to return, you can pay after the first day or the start of the second
day.

All Camps are June 12th -15th and will be held at Lee’s
Summit High School. Check in each day will be in the
historic Lee’s Summit Field House.

1-6th Grade Fundamentals Camp (12:30-3:00 PM)

This camp is designed for campers of all abilities. We will
mix individual instruction of fundamentals with group and
individual competitions.
4-6th Grade Competitive Camp (3:00 PM-4:00 PM)
This camp is an extension of the fundamentals camp and is
for kids who want to test their skills against other players in
game like settings. Each day we will have a different
tournament (1 v1, 3v3, 4v4, and 5v5).
7-8th Grade Elite Camp (9:00-11:30 AM)
This camp is designed for kids who want to compete and
move beyond the basics to advanced fudamentals.

program. I hereby authorize the coaches to act for me according to their best
judgment in any emergency requiring medical attention. I further agree to waive all
liability of the camp coaches for any accident, illness or other mishap which might
befall the camper named on this application while traveling to or from or during
attendance at camp. I understand that neither the coaches nor the Lee’s Summit
School District provides insurance for injuries incurred during a camp/clinic.
I also give permission for my son/daughter’s picture to be used in camp
