The purpose of this show is to provide an educational experience for youth in the 4-H Dog
program. This is a state qualifier dog show for the Kansas State Fair 4-H Dog Show. Preregistration due by May 8th, 2017. Entry fee $8.00 for showmanship, obedience, and Rally-O.
Entry fee $10 for Agility. Entry fee after May 8th add $2 per class. No entry fees for Harvey
County 4-Hers.

Copy of proof of vaccinations, including rabies, signed by a veterinarian, must
accompany registration form.
Make check payable to Harvey County 4-H Council and mail along with registration and
proof of vaccinations to Harvey County Extension, PO Box 583, Newton KS 67114
Check in will be 8:00 to 8:30 a.m.
You are required to clean up after your dog inside and out, and remove all trash when the
show is over.
Dogs must be kept on leash at all times when not in the ring.
The dog show will follow the rules in the “Kansas 4-H Dog Show Rule Book”, including
those on disqualification. Additionally, any dog that attacks another dog and any person
found abusing dogs anywhere on the fairgrounds, will be asked to leave.
In the interest of supporting the details and purposes of 4-H, it is expected that all
participants and their families will show courtesy and respect to the show officials, and
each other at all times. Any concerns or disputes should be politely brought to the
attention of the show superintendent.
