Joining your TeamPage from an email invitation:
Typically your coach or manager will send out email invitations to players and parents to join your
official TeamPage. If you have yet to receive the email invitation, simply coordinate with your coach
and/or manager to resend the invitation or to update your email contact information.
Note: Currently, you can only have 1 TeamPages account associated with a single email address. So both
a parent/child will require a separate email invitation sent to a separate email address. It is common for
a child is to be too young to have email access; in this case we suggest that the parent’s email address be
used instead for the email invitation. Please coordinate with your coach/manager to update your email
information for your parent/child if needed.
Once the invitation has been sent, you should find an email with the subject: “Check out our new Team
Website for [Your Team’s Name]

case, you will receive an SMS notification (as well as email according to the above
settings) reminding you of your scheduled game/event 1 day in advance.
Control which notifications you want to receive using the check-box provided

SMS Notifications - can be received when (depending on your Notification Settings):
o Someone on your team sends a team text message
o Game/Practice/Event reminders are scheduled
Team SMS Messages - will be received when:

Building your Team Roster:
Once you’re familiar with your Team Settings and have established the look and feel of your TeamPage,
the next step is building your Team Roster.
From the Roster section of your TeamPage, you’ll want to Invite a new member:
© 2006-2011 TeamPages Inc. All Rights Reserved.
Two ways to add members to your roster:
a) Via Email invitation:
 An email invitation will be sent which will request for the user to join your
TeamPage. This will require the user to signup for a TeamPages account as well
as create his/her own unique profile page
 In order for you and your team members to fully benefit from using TeamPages
as central communication tool, it is highly suggested that members be invited
via email, and join your TeamPage. This way, they will have the ability to
receive team communication emails/SMS messages such as game reminders,
and other important team information

b) Without an email invitation
 In this case, the user won’t have the ability to officially join your TeamPage
complete with his/her profile, and you won’t have the ability to communicate
with that user using your TeamPage
 If members do not wish to join your TeamPage, you can simply add them to
your roster without an email address. They will still have the ability to view your
TeamPage as a general public viewer. However, they won’t have the ability to
receive team communication emails/SMS messages.
Important!
As you invite members to your roster, note that with
TeamPages you can only invite 1 person using a single email
address. So in the case of adding a parent/child to your roster
you will need to do so using 2 separate email addresses,
[email protected] and [email protected]
It’s fairly common for a child to not have access to email, thus
in this case we suggest using the parent’s email address
instead. In this case the child may be invited to join your
roster as follows: Child Name with [email protected]
© 2006-2011 TeamPages Inc. All Rights Reserved.
Your Roster and Member Status:
o Once you have added members to your roster (via email or not) you will note the
following status’ underneath their name:
 Pending: their email invitation has been sent and still requires their acceptance
 No Email: no email invitation has been sent
o And once a user has accepted the email invitation, their name will become hyperlinked
as in the screenshot below:
Note: You can edit contact information and add a profile photo for your roster members so long
as they haven’t joined your TeamPage. Once a member has officially your TeamPage, all profile
information (including contact info and profile photo) can only be changed by that person.
Simply select the “Edit” function to edit any roster information.
© 2006-2011 TeamPages Inc. All Rights Reserved.
Adding Additional Team Administrators
o Once you have invited people to your roster, you have the option of granting
administrative status to other members
o Simply select the Administrator check-box for the appropriate person:
o Note: by adding administrators, that person will have the same site management
capabilities as you do. So we suggest that you reserve admin status for coaches,
managers, or those entrusted with your site’s content

Scheduling Team Events
To begin scheduling your team’s games, practices and events go to either your team Calendar or your
Schedule widget:
© 2006-2011 TeamPages Inc. All Rights Reserved.
You have the option to schedule:
Multiple events at one time or;

Some great features when scheduling a team event:
