Mahan Team Wins Big Brown Truck Pull
Members of C.J. Mahan Construction Company’s
Smithland Hydroelectric Project won the Big Brown Truck
Pull in Paducah, Kentucky on Saturday, August 17, 2013.
Mahan’s 15 member team competed against 25 other
teams to see who could pull a loaded UPS truck weighing
over 70,000 pounds 12 feet in the fastest time. The team’s
efforts raised over $1715.00 for the Special Olympics
Kentucky.
Mahan’s winning team included: Harrison Blankenship, Lagan Johnson, LaRance
Laville, Ira Messer, Ryan Miller, Jeff North, John Polk, Scott Richardson, Ben Sayre,
Herb Schick, Aaron Slates, Joe Sledd, Kris Smith, Preston Snelling, and Shane
Steele.
