Proactive continuous personal development and the use of new skills relevant to the job, upgrading of relevant qualifications, increased involvement or responsibility, new (additional) duties successfully carried out. 5. Sustained administrative and organisational contribution at an unusually high or complex level (quantitatively or qualitatively). Outstanding contribution to university wide initiatives such as #DMUlocal, Squaremile, service to the community/public good, open days, graduation, etc, outside of the normal role Outstanding contribution to developing and promoting the international agenda e.g. through work with #DMUGlobal, or by welcoming and integrating international students into the university, outside of the normal role. Enhancing the student learning experience (e.g. by identifying and exploiting opportunities to support students’ academic, personal, social and cultural needs) beyond the normal remit of the role. Section 3 Written Submission & Evidence Please use this section to provide a written submission outlining the reasons why you believe you should be awarded a contribution point or accelerated increment and identify why you consider you fulfil the criteria you have selected above (as outlined un the Guidelines for Applicants). Your written submission should not exceed four sides of A4. As outlined in the guidance notes you should attach to this form a copy of any relevant evidence (4 sides of A4 maximum), an organisation chart for your department and a copy of your current job description.
