P2U Fund Purpose Summary 2016-17

HE P2U Fund offered by the University of Bolton
Purpose of the P2U Fund
The P2U Fund is a financial resource that is available to Bolton College students from the UK and the
EU who have formally accepted a conditional offer of a place on an undergraduate Higher Education
(HE) course at the University of Bolton. There are a number of criteria that need to be satisfied
before a student can access this fund. The HE Co-ordinator will assess the student application for the
P2U Fund to check that all application criteria have been fulfilled.
The P2U Fund will be open for applications until 1st March 2017
An award from the fund can be used to:
• meet specific course and living costs which are not already met from other sources;
• help students who may be considering not taking up a place on an undergraduate HE course at the
University of Bolton because of financial problems.
To apply for the P2U Fund, students need to contact the HE Coordinator based in room A3.38a (Tel:
01204 482300), or the Student Services Department, Deane Road (Tel: 01204 482182).
