• People often act out of self-interest.
• Self-interest is when you focus your own
personal interests.
• Enlightened self-interest is a philosophy that
says that people who act to further the
interests of others (or the interests of the
group(s) to which they belong), ultimately
serve their own self-interest.
• Those who help others, help themselves.
