The Kreuzschwestern are a catholic woman´s order, which, since its inception, has regarded education as vital to a strong society. Our basis for raising and educating pupils is formed by the Christian God and idea of man. Respect for each other, the willingness to help those who need more support, as well as the acceptance of gender equality in all areas of life and work form our founding principles and beliefs. We are of the firm persuasion that religious and spiritual dimensions belong inseparably to each and every individual. 3. Furthermore, the school displays its full commitment to the following values of education, in accordance with § 2 Abs. 1 of the Austrian School Organisation Law. „Austrian Schools have the responsibility to provide lessons which develop student´s ethical, religious and social values, as well as values of goodness, truth and beauty throughout their development and path of education. Schools are compelled to provide students with appropriate knowledge and skills for life and for future work, as well as to assist students to become independent with regards to their own learning.” The school provider is committed and bound to Austrian School laws with regards to co-education, the unrestricted participation in lessons and full adherence to the framework of law. The provider is also bound and committed to provide multiple school excursions of educational value. 4. The corresponding characteristics of the confessional school are as follows a. b. c. catholic students to attend catholic religion lessons Students who belong to another church or religious community which is legally recognised by Austrian law are to attend religion lessons in accordance with their beliefs. Students without a religious denomination, as well as students belonging to any other officially registered religious denomination are to attend religion classes of a Christian denomination. Confessional religion lessons form a fundamental part of achieving goals set for raising and educating the students. 5. The student and the parent or legal guardian are bound to pay the costs for the parent contribution at the start of each month. The parent contribution is based on a yearly calculation and is to be paid by the means of a bank transfer. The parent contribution can be found on the tariff information sheet. The tariff will be adjusted yearly in accordance with the consumer price index 2010 (VPI 2010 =100). Prices will be raised or reduced based on the difference in the Index from the current month of July, in comparison with the Index from the July of the previous year. 6. The contractual relationship in accordance with this contract of education ends automatically upon the completion of the type of school concerned. Furthermore, the contract can only be terminated, unless there is good reason, by either party in the last four weeks of the current school year. Otherwise, the parent or legal guardian is required to pay for the following year. A contract termination within the school year is, otherwise, not possible. Should a student stop attending school within the school year, there will be no change in the terms and conditions of the payments until the end of the school year. In exceptional circumstances, the responsible parties can reach a special agreement (mutual termination of contract, release of contract, reduction of payments or deferment of payments). These special agreements are applicable upon written confirmation of both parties. An exception to this rule occurs if the student’s family has to move out of Upper Austria due to work reasons, and therefore school attendance is no longer possible. 7. This contract can be prematurely terminated by either party with immediate effect as a result of exceptional causes. Exceptional causes in particular are, a. If the student grossly and persistently fails to fulfil his or her obligations in accordance with § 43 SchUG of Austrian School Law. b. If the student or their parent / legal guardian, through persistent behaviour, disrupts the organisation of the school and the achievement of the school´s educational goals. c. Upon a verifiable discovery of possession or consummation of addictive drugs. d. Upon a non-agreed failure of payment four weeks after the agreed payment date. Warning letters do not affect this agreed time period. 8. The student and parent or legal guardian agree that photographs, videos etc. of daily school like, as well as class photos in which the student can be seen, will be posted on the internet, placed in an annual report or used and released in other school publications. The student and parent or legal guardian agree to the capture and saving of their private personal details in the School Association’s EDV computer system. 9. Upon signature of this contract, the parent or legal guardian is compelled to provide all parents and legal guardian`s personal details (§§ 158ffe ABGB). Furthermore, upon signature of the contract, the parent or legal guardian who has signed has the responsibility to inform the school immediately of any changes to any to parent´s or legal guardian´s details, as well as verifying any changes in writing. 10. The student is bound to complying with the school and house rules and confirms that a copy will be given to him or her. 11. In the case of acceptance in to After School Care / the following also applies: The student will be registered simultaneously to After School Care. The parent or legal guardian is unequivocally bound to full payment at the beginning of each month through the means of a bank transfer. …………………………………........
