Corporate & Advanced Driver Training
Under the Health and Safety at Work act 1974 ,employers have a
statutory ‘duty of care’ – that is, they are required to assess the
risk of any employee who drives for work. At A-Drive we pride
ourselves that all our on-road advanced driving courses are
conducted by advanced driving instructors, all of which are currently
registered with the DVSA (Driving & Vehicle Standards Agency) ADrive tuition is the largest and most successful independent driving
school in Northampton and has been established for over 12 years.
Most of all our work is through customer recommendation.
Our tutors have a genuine passion for teaching the very best
advanced techniques for drivers of all abilities.
Course Content
Most of our advanced driving courses can be arranged to start from
your office, where our tutor can meet each of the drivers, we can
conduct the on road training, ending the session back at the office.
The drive – After the introduction and brief car checks have been
carried out, and once the driver has had time to relax and compose
themselves, the tutor will spend around 30 minutes assessing their
driving. This will help them see what sort of driver they are, and

pick up any minor/major faults. There will be recap sessions once
the vehicle is parked.
All faults and observations are recorded and a computrised detailed
report is given for all of the candidates highlighting the areas of
risk. We will give practical recommendations for fleet risk reduction.
Your drivers will be given personal action plans to manage their fleet
risk and they will be provided with guidance and advice to reduce the
likelihood of an accident. A driver risk assessment allows you to
determine who is a high fleet risk and who is not.
All our courses are designed to the very highest standards possible.
Our training methods and content are regularly reviewed to ensure
they reflect the very latest driver training methods, and best
practice as advised by the Driving & Vehicle Standards Agency.
