Intramural 5-on-5 Basketball Roster

Important note for captains regarding Spring 2017 semester
We here at BU Intramural Sports want to do everything in our power to make you a schedule
that works well for your team. Please read the notes below, and provide us with any and all
information we may need to help us make you the best possible schedule:
 We typically schedule games on and through Holiday weekends. If you select Sunday as
a day that your team can do, please look ahead and be sure to note on your roster if there
are any specific holiday weekends on which your team cannot play. Games will begin on
Sunday, February 5.
 We will be scheduling games on Beanpot Mondays (February 6st and 13th). If you select
Monday as a day that your team can do, but do not wish to play on these dates, please be
sure to state this on your roster.
 We will NOT be scheduling games on Patriots Day (Monday April 17th). We WILL
schedule games on President’s Day (Monday February 20). We will NOT schedule
games on the Sunday before either holiday (Sunday February 19 and Sunday April 16).
To be eligible to enter your league your team must list that they are available for at least 8 hours
per week. Therefore, if you say that you are available on Mondays with no restrictions, you
would be available for 5 hours (Games are played 6-11pm). If you choose Mondays but also
indicate that you cannot play from 6-8, you would only be available for 3 hours (8-11). Also, if
you list that you are available for Wednesdays, you may not mark more than three Wednesdays
as conflicts.
Please be sure to note any other specific days/times that your team would prefer not to play on
your roster (or in the body of your email if you need more space). Please look ahead and help us
make a schedule that will work for you.
Thanks,
