Any non-Evans student participant will be required to complete a waiver form at registration. There will be 2 divisions: 17 years old and under, 18 years old and up. Balls will be provided. Players may use their own bats. Batting order will be randomly selected. All balls will be pitched by a Lite-Flite machine. Each participant will receive one point for each home run hit over the fence in fair territory. Each swing not resulting in a home run will be referred to as an out. (A missed swing, foul ball, or tip is counted as a swing.) The batter may elect to not swing at a pitch without penalty. Each batter will hit until he has recorded five outs. Home Plate will be located at 2nd base. In the event of a tie, all tied participants will take place in a “swing off” – where they will each receive one “out”. The participant (s) with the most points after the “swing off” will be the winner. 5. Come cheer on the team and participants! Thank you for your support.! Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each division and to the Please email questions player who raises the most in donations. Welcome to the 2015 season and the 5th season of Evans baseball! Each athletic team is responsible for raising their own money for facility upgrades and equipment. The baseball program is raising money for the team needs via: donations, concessions, spirit wear, and a Home Run Derby.
