Dear Danielle,
Congratulations on being accepted into an internship program with NBCUniversal! I am pleased to
extend this offer to you for Summer 2016. I believe that your skills and educational background will
enable you to fit nicely with our organization.
You will be based at our New York office. Your hourly rate will be $22.00 payable on a weekly basis.
Your Summer internship program begins June 6. Your official start date may differ and should be
discussed with your supervisor. Please note that your start date is contingent upon the successful
completion of a background check and all required internship paperwork. You should reach out directly to
your supervisor to determine your official start date, what days you will be working and what your hours
will look like. The final day of the Summer internship program will be August 19, 2016. Campus 2
Career will contact you again via email with more details about the orientation, etc. prior to your start date.
As we proceed with the next steps of your internship process, there are a few items that must be
completed. Please note that this internship offer is contingent upon successful completion of the
following:
1. Using the link in the welcome email, electronically accept your internship offer letter and
electronically sign all program policies.
a. Your employment with NBCUniversal is contingent upon your consent to the
Acknowledgement of Internship, Solutions Acknowledgement, Celebrity & Talent Policy
and NBCUniversal Intern Publicity Waiver and Comcast Code of Conduct (complete
policies are located on the New Hire Website). Please read these documents.
2. NBCUniversal's Human Resources department will be conducting a background check. You will
be receiving a separate email from our background check vendor Sterling Info Systems to
complete your background check. Once received, please complete within 48 hours.
If Sterling is unable to verify all elements of the background verification, you may be required to
provide supporting documentation, such as a transcript to verify enrollment in a higher education
institution and a graduation date. Additionally, if you do not receive a “NBCUniversal Background
Check Application” email from Sterling Info Systems within 48 hours of receiving this offer letter,
please contact Campus 2 Career via the contact information shown at the end of this offer letter.
*When completing the application, please do not include any international addresses if you have
lived abroad, as we will only conduct a domestic search.
3. Please read and review steps 1-8 on the new hire website here:

4. Complete the Intern New Hire Form using the additional link in the welcome email.

5. Complete the New York State Wage Form, which is included as a link in your offer letter
email. You can also print the enclosed copy for your records.
6. You will be required to complete an I-9 form prior to your start date. On your first day of
employment or at orientation, please bring documents that establish identity and proof of eligibility
to work in the United States (see I-9 enclosure). You are permitted to choose from any of the
eligible documents identified on the I-9 enclosure for purposes of satisfying your I-9 requirements.
In addition, we also ask that you bring a copy of your social security card for payroll verification
purposes.
It should be noted that the above description of your salary, job title, benefits and other information in this
letter is not intended to create a contract for a specific term of employment or any other legally
enforceable promise, and that employment with NBCUniversal is at-will. Further, any oral promises or
commitments made during the interview process are not valid unless contained in this offer letter.
Finally, you represent that your employment with NBCUniversal does not breach, or otherwise violate or
contravene, the terms of any employment or other agreement or policy to which you are a party or
otherwise bound, such as a non-compete agreement with a current or previous employer. You
understand and acknowledge that any misrepresentation by you during the pre-hire process or thereafter
may result in the rescission of this offer or termination of employment, or other appropriate action.
