CT – There was some things missed out in July’s minutes in General
business – i.e. talking about MP coaches and it was not included in the
minutes [RS mentioning PB coaching a team at MP State when he hadn’t
coached the season]

CT – PR has done a report, I have let him know that he doesn’t need to do
anymore (unless he runs for another role of course!)
CT – MOTION that players pay $20 fee before receiving a [training] shirt.
MT 2nd ALL AGREE
SD – need to go back and let members who have already registered. RS –
we will ask for it by the end of the first game. People will be invoiced once
details entered.
SD – will post out forms and get them posted back ASAP [bankruptcy form]
CT – Mel G as you’re the only GC here… [re acting Fundraising Officer] Mel
G – I can help out until 28th August then I have prac and cannot commit to
anything. Will hopefully find someone then.
ND – I can help with Father’s Day Stall. RS – I will run that. Mel G – as my
first official act as acting Fundraising Officer I declare RS to run that!

 CT – MT and RS will be here on Sunday. ND can you be down here too? ND

days, maybe someone else can help out?

CT – maybe we should incorporate a lightning strike or something? MT – a
baseball with a lightning strike?
SD – we should invite the person who has put her hand up for canteen to
our next meeting.
CT – how many tees need replacing? ND – we have 15 functional tees,
Fielder’s Choice sell them for $35, may be able to talk them down.
PR – are you going to throw them? ND – want to repair if I can. Don’t know
how many we will need until we know how many teams.
CT – how many bags do we need? ND – looking at 4 or 5, but once again
won’t know until we have teams. Will need them for LL/MP/SB when
they’re being carted a distance esp. for coaches with young children i.e.
Mel G.

RS – sold more tickets (approx. 50) Mel G – how many do we need to sell?
CT – 200 so need to sell 150. RS have had people message wanting tickets.
Once TW is back will have a report.
PR – do we need table and chairs? RS – they’re all there. PR do you have a
map? CT – we will need it.
CT – {to MF & PS) so you know Mel G is going to take over for the next 3
weeks. Hopefully KG will be back then.

CT – found out LL will be played on Mondays. MP on Fridays. Also the $10
fee increase that BWA said would occur– it actually rose $12/player so
they are comping the $2/player

PS – need to register as a coach. MT – see SD she has my forms.
CT – IGA are doing the water again and we got 3 x $75 vouchers – I think
they’re for the windup?
RS – they were meant for last season’s windup but they didn’t arrive in
time.
CT – IGA logo must be on all new State uniforms.
CT – I did question re attending 9 meetings minimum as some clubs attend
on behalf of 2 clubs (or more) Thornlie Districts can as they are an
association.
CT – {to SD} please request a copy of TBAWA constitution.
ND – the penalty of not attending 8 meetings minimum will be the
committee put to council to vote out the club.
CT – have insurance papers, will look at it next month.

CT – don’t agree with young kids being nominated with older kids.

Mel G – our school has just started using an app that may be useful for the
club – can send messages etc. SD – TidyHQ can do that, it’s not an app

Mel G – have had a proposal by a member – can we pay not to help? I.e.
$70, not payable by govt. SD – is that to not fundraise or not to do team
duties? Mel G – would have to clarify. SD – would have to say no if it’s
team duties.

Ask people to come to our Open Day {11th Sept} CT – ask coffee van. ND –
can ask reps from Softball and Baseball.
SD- certificates from 7eleven, what were they for? RS – free Slurpee for
players of the day. CT – softball or teeball? RS – there’s 25ish, maybe put
them with the trophies.
CT – roster for TBAWA meetings – either need a delegate or do a roster.
ND – I will be delegate.
TS – Would like to know when an umpiring clinic is? CT – not released yet.
ND – they’re on the [TBAWA] website. CT – look on the website.
PS – would like to go to a coach’s clinic. SD – 9th October @ Huntingdale.
CT – does anyone know the owners of the pub that is being built @
Haynes? {General no} Thinking of asking them to sponsor our senior
teams.
