'MADE IN ITALY' HIGH-TECH GOLD PROCESSING PLAYS A LEADING
ROLE IN BRAZIL FROM 20TH TO 22ND JUNE
For the second time VICENZAORO T-GOLD International
will be at “Tecnogold” with the most avant-garde gold and silver
processing technologies
From 20th to 22nd June the best of Italian precious stone and metal processing machinery, tools and
instruments will once again be playing a leading role in San Paolo, Brazil, at the 16 th edition of Tecnogold,
the Show specifically for jewellery processing organised by Sindijoias and IBGM (Brazilian Institute for
Gems and Precious Stones).
For the second time, Fiera di Vicenza, in collaboration with AFEMO (Italian Machinery and Supplies
Association for Jewellery Manufacturing), will be accompanying a group of Italian gold processing
companies from Vicenza, Alessandria, Arezzo, Milan, Pavia, Turin, Varese and Verona, as part of the TGOLD International project, the exhibition concept that offers jewellery producers the chance to discover
the latest ideas and products in high-tech gold and jewellery processing.
Following the success of T-GOLD, Fiera di Vicenza's international Show for gold processing technologies,
organised to coincide with VICENZAORO Winter 2013 and which counted 120 exhibiting companies, Brazil
is an extremely important event.
Brazil, the sixth largest economy in the world, with an overall income of 2,080 billion dollars, is a
fundamental hub for the Latin-American market. In 2011, Brazilian companies took the lion's share of
jewellery production in South America (19.5 tons out of a total 41.5 - ISTAT data source).
In Fiera di Vicenza's opinion, developing new opportunities to exploit by strengthening the technological
leadership of the Italian business system on the international scene is not only an absolute necessity but
also the gold and jewellery sector's trump card.
Technology applied to the precious stone and metal sector and constant investments in research and
development are the most effective weapons for conquering markets, for widening the gap between
competitors and for defending the sector from forgeries.
This ongoing exemplary strategy thus sees Fiera di Vicenza as the privileged partner of the very best in
Italian manufacturing. Due to joint trade and promotional strategies, the partnership between Fiera di
Vicenza and leading industrial organisations in the gold and jewellery processing sector continues to

Tecnogold in San Paolo, Brazil and another appearance at the Dubai International Jewellery Week in the
United Arab Emirates, scheduled to take place from 4th to 7th December 2013, are the next events on the
calendar for an internationalisation project that has those markets where demand is higher within its
sights.
