At Harvard, she was 2008 Ivy League Player of the Year and 2009 ECAC Hockey Player of the Year. In 2011, she was Clarkson Cup MVP as a member of the Montreal Stars. Ms. Vaillancourt’s experience and commitment empowers her players to achieve success and maximize their full potential. Assistant Coaches: Dugie Ross, Brittany Sharman (SC ’10) Dan Poliziani Boys Varsity Head Coach Mr. Poliziani has over 35 years of hockey and coaching experience, including playing at OHL, NCAA and professional hockey levels. A graduate of Yale (1982), he has worked with the Canadian Hockey Associations Under-17 program and was senior boys hockey head coach at Appleby College from 2002 to 2014. Mr. Poliziani is a dedicated and motivated coach, educator and mentor. Assistant Coach: Matthew Thompson Matthew Thompson Goaltending Coach Mr. Thompson joined the coaching staff in 2012. Prior, he assisted Coach Poliziani at Appleby College. A former Athlete-of-theYear at St. Mary’s High School in Pickering, Ont., Mr. Thompson brings years of coaching experience to our program. Patrick Colomb Strength & Conditioning Coach Mr. Colomb has been on the coaching staff since 2013. His intensive program incorporates traditional training such as speed and agility, aerobic and anaerobic exercise, functional strength lifting and mobility.
