Form a team and take part in this year’s Paige’s Butterfly Run!
Your participation and fundraising directly benefit children with cancer and blood disorders
being treated at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY.
Build your team
Teams can be all runners, all walkers, or a combination of both. You can also put together a
Centipede (5k tethered team). Each team must have a minimum of 5 members. Your team can
fundraise together or as individuals. See pg. 4 for ideas.
Join us Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Federal Building, 100 S. Clinton St., Syracuse.
You can make a difference
With your help we can fund life-saving research; aid families struggling with the financial
realities of their child’s disease; and sponsor programs that bring fun into the lives of these
children. We need your team!
Paige Yeomans Arnold was eight years old when she lost her battle with cancer. This run
continues in her memory and for the sake of children who have come after her.
Funding Hope: the event itself is a celebration. In addition to the running and walking events,
we offer many family activities: music, raffles, a bounce house, a magician and more!
Have a great time doing a good thing by joining us at Paige's Butterfly Run. Stay for the
Taste of Syracuse, immediately following!
The organizing body of PBR Inc., is a not-for-profit New York corporation that has been granted 501C3
status by the IRS and works in partnership with Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital/Foundation for
Upstate Medical University.

FUNDRAISING TIPS
Your Fundraising Dollars are a big part of this great event.
Paige's Butterfly Run (PBR) prides itself on the fact that 100% of the money you raise will be used to
fund pediatric cancer research and patient programs at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital.
Ways you can fundraise:
• Participate in area wide Paige’s Pajamarama Day on April 22, 2016. For more information
see website or email us at [email protected]
• Distribute PBR information in paychecks, church bulletins, school newspapers or in
organization newsletters.
• Register online and set up a fundraising page at www.pbrun.org
• Encourage co-workers/organization members to invite friends and relatives to support or join your team.
• Be sure everyone knows your Exact Team Name.
• Make weekly announcements through Facebook to spread your fundraising efforts.
• Incite some friendly competition between friends, co-workers, departments or schools.
• Collect pennies at school, have a bake sale, or get your class to find a cool way to raise money.
• Sponsor a hat day or jeans day at work, require donations to participate.
