Findings & Analysis
Insert appropriate graph and then write a paragraph which explains what you learnt
from this assessment which builds from what the four column report says and describes
the graph.
If using Course Files Reflections as an indirect measure, the expectation is to provide a
paragraph summary of major themes. Programs with large numbers of course sections
are encouraged to draw on a representative sample.
Communication & Dissemination of Results
How were the assessment findings shared with other members of the department or
College? It is essential that colleagues are aware of the results of the assessments
because of the impact the findings should have on the department. This is a key
component to closing the loop and developing a culture of continuous improvement.
Actions & Follow up
What did your department/college do with what was learnt? Are there any more actions
to be done over the next year? No more than ½ page. This should always be more than
“faculty discussion”. The actions and follow up must indicate specific, measurable actions
with end dates- keep track of and document the process that was undertaken. See
“Closing the Loop” document for ideas on what can be done.
