Civilian Conservation Corps Single Table Shelters– First Come First Serve
In the early 1930’s, the Civilian
Conservation Corps (CCC) was
responsible for developing and opening
Myrtle Beach State Park.
Facilities that are still in use today
include: 4 single table shelters, Shelter 1,
Shelter 2, rental apartments, 4 rental
cabins, old park entrance, and various
ranger staff houses.
Look for this yellow circular sign on
all CCC facilities.
