One Card Conditions of Use - Port Lincoln

Holds
You may have up to 30 holds on your
card.
You may request items in person, on the
library catalogue, by email or by phoning
during opening hours. You can also
choose your pickup location.
You will be notified when your hold is
available via your choice of SMS, post or
email notification.
Holds will be held for your collection for a
maximum 10 days.
Computer and Internet bookings
Public computer access is available to all
members. Temporary access is available
to visitors on provision of formal
identification.
Computer bookings may be made in
person or by phoning during opening
hours for a maximum of 2 hours per day.
Full terms and conditions for computer
use are displayed on the opening screen
of all public computers, a copy may be
viewed at the Library desk.
Removable storage used in the PCs is at
users’ own risk.
Free wireless services are available to all
members and visitors.
Your Library card gives you access to free eBooks and
Audiobooks—a great range of fiction and non-fiction,
suitable for children and adults.
Home Library Service
Welcome to the
A free home delivery service is available for patrons who
are unable to access the Library independently. Please
contact us if you are interested in learning more about
this service.

St. entrance. Please note items can be returned to any
Library in SA.

Membership - Joining up is Free!
MEMBERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Borrowing
Any resident of South Australia is welcome to
join the statewide consortium! Applications may
be made in person or online. This will give you
access to the One Card Network of SA.
It is your responsibility to notify the Library if you
change your contact details.
Number of items
Members of any library in SA may request,
collect, borrow and return items to and from the
Port Lincoln Community Library.
Full membership is available on provision of
formal identification such as your drivers
licence, proof of age card or healthcare card.
Age 16-17 as above but parent or legal
guardian authorisation is required for Internet
use.
You are responsible for all items while on loan to you
and any items not returned must be paid for.
Temporary membership: 5 items at any
one time
It is your responsibility to return all items directly to a
One Card Network SA Library.
Full membership: 100 items at any one
time across the One Card Network with the
following limits:
Audio visual items are played within home equipment
at patrons’ own risk.
15 Audio Books
Fees and Charges
We do not charge overdue fines however lost and
damaged items are subject to conditions of use and
must be paid for.
Replacement cost will include a $10 processing fee.
Age 15 and under a parent or legal guardian
will be required to complete an application form
that names the child/children. A medicare card
or passport which names the child/children will
also be required for verification. Parent or legal
guardian authorisation is required for Internet
use.
Items that are long overdue and subsequently
returned will incur a $10 administration and
processing fee.
Full membership is for 3 years and temporary
membership is for 3 months which may be
renewed on expiry.
Please notify the Library immediately—you are
responsible for anything borrowed prior to
notification.
Membership is not transferrable. You are
responsible for all debts incurred on cards
guaranteed by you.
A $5.00 replacement fee applies for lost/stolen cards.
Formal recovery procedures will take place if
necessary. All cards under the member’s guarantee
are subject to the same conditions.

Loan Extensions
Two extensions are available on items that
are not on hold.
Library Card Security
Your Login and PIN allows you to access
your Library account electronically, eBook
and audiobook collection and also the
public computers. It is important to protect
the security of your card and PIN at all
times.
