Anyone involved within grassroots football in Manchester e.g. player, coach, referee, respect coordinator, club or league or even a parent. This award is for teams that can evidence the following; Evidence of good practice e.g. Use of respect barriers, Respect Captains Armband, Team handshake. Your team has demonstrated positive attitude and sportsmanship at all times e.g. all players turn up to training and matches each week to improve and develop as players. Promotion of the respect programme e.g. Poster displays, Agenda Items at Management Meetings, Club presentations with support from Manchester FA, a Respect Co-ordinator, educating and creating awareness. How do you support the Development of Refereeing within Respect? Your team is performing well currently e.g. made improvements in league table or received your first point of the season. Tell us what your Nominee does above and beyond to support The FA’s Respect Programme. What will the successful nominee receive? Recognition Included in E-Circle Gift Voucher up to £25 Respect Gift Pack Personal Presentation Team has achieved a milestone – e.g. 5 clean sheets in a row, 50 team goals scored in a month or remain undefeated. A role model for other clubs by going the extra mile e.g. raising funds, sharing roles and responsibilities to parents and supporters. What will the team receive? Anyone involved within football in Manchester can be nominated for this award e.g. volunteer, coach, teacher, referee, parent, club, league or simply someone who can bring people together. Evidence of good practice of breaking down barriers e.g. the coach ensuring that all players gain equal playing time regardless of the result or the League ensuring flexibility and adaptability. Club or teams that provide football for all for example a youth team that includes players with a disability within mainstream football.
