Dear Parents/Carers,
I hope you had a good October
holiday despite the weather!
We have booked the S.E.C.C. to
go and see Robinson Crusoe and
the Pirates of the Caribbean on
the 20th December.
We have managed to keep the
cost to £10.00 (Same as last
year) The usual offer applies (buy
2 and the third goes free)
Transport is being provided by
the school. Please pay as soon as
possible.
If anyone has any problems
regarding this please let me know
Please note we will be late
returning, approximately 4.15
p.m.
As far as possible can parents
please make sure that their child
brings their snack to school with
them. Lately it has become a
practice of parents bringing
snacks for clerical staff to
deliver to the children.
This year we are allowing the
children to dress up if they wish
for Halloween. They can wear
their outfits/costumes on
Monday afternoon.
There will be a prize for the
“best dressed” in each class.
We are off to Blairvadach on the
27th February to 2nd March.
(Let’s hope it doesn’t snow!)
Any parent who requested a place
and has still to pay the deposit of
£15 please pay as soon as
possible.
I will send out the cost of the
trip in the next newsletter.
Early Notification from Glasgow
City Council
Due to changes in public holidays
during the 2011/12 school
session, a review has been
carried out of the school opening
days for 2011/12 with the result
that schools will now close one
day earlier for the start of the
Christmas/New Year break, ie
the last school day will be
Thursday 22nd December 2011.

Confirmation
Our Primary 4 pupils have been
preparing for the Sacrament of
Confirmation. Children will be
confirmed on 30th November in
St Robert’s Church at 7 p.m.
Please Note All Souls Mass
Mass will be said on Wednesday
2nd November at 7 p.m. This mass
will especially remember all those
who have been bereaved in the
past year
