Captain’s Prize Final Day – Saturday 22nd July













There will be one qualifying round to be held on Saturday 1st July. Format
will be 18 holes single stableford off the yellow Tees.
Format for the Captain’s Prize will be 18 holes single strokes off white tees
Cost of entry is €10 and includes the qualifying day and Captain’s Prize final
day. Normal competition prizes will apply on the qualifying day. The entry
fee will be deducted on the Qualifying day.
To be eligible to win the Captain’s Prize you must have played in 4
qualifying rounds of competition.
The best 88 scores over the qualifying round will qualify for Captain’s Prize.
Scores from the qualifying round will NOT carry forward.
The Captain’s Prize day will be a Shotgun start for all qualifiers and will tee
off at 2pm sharp.
A random draw will take place by the competition committee for allocation
of the tee boxes, and the qualifiers will be added to the time sheet showing
their starting box.
If you would like to play in the qualifying round but you are not available
for the Captain’s Prize, please write NOT AVAILABLE clearly on top of your
card.
The qualifiers will be posted on the time sheet the week after the qualifier.
The Captain’s Prize to Lady Members will also take place on Saturday 22 nd
2017 and will have a shotgun start at 9am. The format of the day is 18 hole
single stableford of the red tees. Entry cost €10. The ladies will be able to
put their names on the timesheet when it opens.
The Captains guests will play a 12 hole single stableford, Shotgun start at
9am
Past Captains prize will be over 12 holes and for those who did not qualify
for the captain’s prize will be allocated a spot in the 9am shotgun start.
Presentation of all prizes will take place in the clubhouse on the evening of
the Saturday 22nd July at 9pm.
It is expected that all prize winners will attend the presentation
